Does Google Affiliate Network restrict affiliates from running other affiliate networks?
Posted by: | CommentsAn affiliate this morning informed me she could not run any outside affiliate programs or networks on her blogs she participates in Google Adsense / affiliate program and as such she is prohibited from running any other affiliate networks.
Which led me on an Internet search to verify her statement. I also asked a well known Affiliate Manager and the reply I received was ” Absolutely not true.”
It seems there is one Blog Network that restricts affiliate ad placement but Google Adsense doesn’t. Want to verify for yourself? Here are the Google Affiliate Network Terms:

Shorten your affiliate urls with a redirect
Posted by: | CommentsWhy should you create a shortened link for your affiliate urls ? Because you need to be able to recall your links off the top of your head and typically affiliate urls are long and cumbersome.
Why you shouldn’t use a TEMPORARY service like bit.ly or tiny.url to do so ? Because these free services are not always 100% reliable and after you have spent hours of your time placing links in forums and directories or on your site when the link stops working all of those links will no longer work.
You need to create these links on your own server. If you don’t yet have your own hosting Click Here to get some from just $4.95 a month.
Two ways to create shortened affiliate links on your own domain (ie yourdomain/affiliateprogram:
